  7. All new and potential gardeners should be aware that 2026 may be the last year we will be able to garden at our current location. Our garden space belongs to the University of Regina.  They have provided us this space at no cost since 1985. Our arrangement is set out in a lease from the University, which has always included a clause allowing the university to terminate the lease when and if they ever need the land. The University advised us in December that they are considering development of the land and so have advised us that they may not renew our lease for 2027. We will learn that later this year. The Garden Board has begun the process of looking for alternate sites.
